The deadline for PCI Compliance is June 30!
If your business is part of the credit card payment ecosystem, YOU MUST ACT NOW or face steep fines or even possible revocation of your right to accept credit cards!
The Payment Card Industry has mandated that all businesses that accept credit card payments must comply with the PCI Data Security Standard, which goes into effect on June 30, 2008.
Part of this standard requires companies to secure their Web applications.
What does this mean for you? If you accept credit card payments over the internet for self-processing using your own terminal, you will almost certainly be in breach of the code.
Perhaps the time is now right for you to update to using a payment service provider. We recommend Secure Trading, and can help get you on the right path.
