We are absolutely delighted to announce that the new Sitellite Commercial edition version 5 is now available, albeit still in beta.
This edition, which we got our hands on this morning, not only contains substantial revisions, updates and improvements over the previous version, it now includes, amazingly, the Siteshop application, and the Sitemailer2 application. This is unprecedented value.
At last it becomes fully possible to integrate ecommerce with content management, without having to install two separate applications and to deal with two separate control panels. We are already busy experimenting with the new functionality, and expect to have it in production within the week.
In addition to the Siteshop, the new Sitemailer application allows professional quality use of and administration of mailing lists to an unprecedented degree, now rivalling systems such as 12all and OEMPro for ease of use and industrial strength design.
